Welcome to ProFarmer’s new website! Custom-built to fit our club’s diverse needs, the website will become the new home of ProFarmer’s operations and extend our club’s interactions with the community. ProFarmer is one of the oldest and most storied clubs at WAB; as a group, we aim to support and facilitate the sale of organic and fair-trade products from local farmers to the wider WAB community. Through our community partners, we work to equip students with knowledge regarding organic farming in China and the challenges that are associated with it. As a club, we understand the importance of resisting unfair and corrupt business practices and engage directly with our community partners to continue dialogue on these topics.
In the coming weeks, we look forward to sharing ProFarmer’s first documentary, revealing our club’s new logo, publishing our official report on the state of China’s organic food industry and extending the depth of our produce offerings via a new online marketplace in the coming future!
