Shared Harvest has connect over 104 local farms with urban consumers through the use of their community supported agriculture (CSA) programs. Encouraging access to fresh, organic produce while supporting local farming practices.
Shared Harvest is a community focused organisation based in BeiJing China, focused on promoting sustainable agriculture and healthy eating.
For WAB’s community, its the opportunity to access organic and clean food while allowing local famers to sell more to invest into more organic methods.
Shared Harvest aims to emphasize the importance of local food production and responsible consumption whilst promoting a healthier lifestyle, strengthening community ties and empowering individuals to make informed choices about their food and its impact on the environment. They aim a deeper understanding of food systems and environmental sustainability through workshops, farm tours and cooking classes.
